the gaes Pilgrim Race It constitutes an authentic adventure on two wheels through the paths of the Camino de Santiago. It is an experience on two unique routes, ideal for discovering new sensations on the bike, improving oneself and making new friends.
The race is divided into Two parts, the first timed so that the participants can make the most of their potential; and the second part, whose objective is the enjoyment and discovery of new landscapes in a calmer way as a way of cycling. In this, it is intended to make known small and endearing towns and their people who also go to Santiago de Compostela.
7 Stages for the GAES Pilgrim Race
The first part, which is a more intense experience, in which the cyclists must give everything of themselves, consists of 4 stages, the first of competition. These go from Madrid to Sahagún de Campos.
- Step 1: Madrid-Cercedilla
- Step 2: Cercedilla-Olmedo
- Step 3: Olmedo- Medina of Rioseco
- Step 4: Medina of Rioseco- Sahagún
